I’m a board certified Physician Associate (PA-C) with a lifelong passion for travel and adventure.

In 2012, I started Beyond the Horizon as a catalog of my journeys and after over a decade of exploring five continents and 35 countries, I see Beyond the Horizon as a travel passion project featuring my friends and I as we share the thrill of exploring new places and inspire wanderlust in others.

What has travel done for me?

It’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was introduced to travel at a very young age through my mother who has spent nearly 40 years as a flight attendant. As I grew older, travel has become more than just a hobby—it’s been an outlet; a constant source of connection and inspiration.

Travel has enriched my life in countless ways, teaching me invaluable lessons that have shaped my personal growth and fueled my drive to push beyond my own limits! It has propelled me to reach my life endeavors and continues to guide my pursuit to master myself every day. It’s provided me the introspection required to achieve some remarkable things in my life. It’s guided me to unforgettable places where I thought I’d never go. And most importantly, it’s brought me together with so many wonderful, lifelong friends all across the globe.

There are no words to express the gratitude I feel to be this fortunate…and now, I want to expand my reach, connect with a broader community and inspire fellow travelers to embrace the world with the same passion!

Isn’t Traveling Expensive?

It’s no secret that it can be an expensive passion. Some may take traveling for granted, not to mention it can be scary; elicit fear and social anxiety in others. It’s certainly not for everyone – and that’s okay

But humor me for a moment…From my experiences, after taking that leap into the great unknown, I’ve learned that it’s still possible to travel, not break the bank AND still have an incredible time!

In fact, traveling on a shoestring budget has led me on some roads less traveled, which turned out to be some of the best times of my life!Of course, if traveling through the backdoor is not for you, luxury travel is also a very enjoyable option. There are many ways to do it and keep the costs low!

And I’d love nothing more, but to share how to do this with you!
